Beginning my Wine Escapades

Over the course of the semester, I've been lucky to try numerous wines, and have been collecting dozens of photos for my wine blog. In addition the knowledge we've had laid on us in class, I've been able to increase my knowledge about wine immensely.

My wine cellar in my townhouse is looking kind of like this now :) :

HOWEVER, procrastination has taken its toll, and I kind of began to realize that I couldn't procrastinate it anymore - I really needed to start getting these photos online and really talking about and recalling all of my wine experiences.

The best part about this is that last night, a bunch of us had the opportunity to go to our first Zeppoli's tasting, and that's where the true inspiration of beginning my blogs came from.

Zeppoli's is a fairly popular restaurant here in Blacksburg, which features fresh homemade pasta, ravioli, bread, soups, and sauces; available for dine in or take out. They also offer a lot of great carry-out options - which I had the opportunity to indulge in before ever being of legal age to try their wine selections. Most people don't know that the restaurant has actually been opened since 1996 - it's not new!

Catch the next post that document's Zeppoli's, followed by the rest of my escapades thus far this semester. :)
