As mentioned in my biography to the right, this is my first experience using a blog to document my alcohol consumption. Let's be real - we're all college students and we all take our fair share of time consuming alcohol when we're not in class - but how many students get to go to a university where you get to study wine, talk about it, and then get points for going out to drink it! Yes...I know.
Our awesome professor is the one and only John Boyer, Virginia Tech extraordinaire. Otherwise known as the plaid avenger, Boyer will be guiding our wine exploits throughout the semester. On this blog, throughout the semester you'll find different posts about wineries & breweries I've visited, films I've viewed, dinner's I've gone to, and just all around different types of wine I enjoy.
I've had a little bit of experience with wine academically, after having taken Winery Tourism last semester, in the fall of 2011.
